To ensure the safety of our feline residents as well as our human guests, we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the lounge at any time if the “Cat Rules” are not being followed, without expectation of a refund.
- Wash your hands before entering and after exiting the cat lounge.
- Eating & drinking Only food and drink from our café are allowed in the cat lounge. Do not feed the cats any human food or drink. All drinks must have a lid and baked goods should be in a closed container when not being eaten. in the cat lounge. Please watch your items so the cats don't consume them.
- Picking up cats Please ask the staff before picking up the cats. Some may not like being picked up and prefer to play.
- Pictures Feel free to take pictures, but no flash please.
- Watch the door When entering or exiting, Please let staff know when you are leaving so they can help look out for escape artists.
- 50-minute cat visits Cat lounge visits are 50 minutes long, so that we have time to clean between sessions.
General Cat Etiquette:
- Be gentle with the cats. Please don't chase cats. If they walk away after you pet them, they are done being petted. Not all cats like being picked up, so please ask the cat lounge attendant first.
- Cats get scared easily! Please no running, jumping, stomping, throwing, or yelling.
- Cats sleep A-LOT! Please don't wake the cats, but give them lots of pets for happy dreams.
- Children 13 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. There should be an adult per two children. We ask that adults and children are together when they meet and interact with our cats. Please note that guardians are responsible for the actions of their minors and should make sure they follow the rules.
